<div style="text-align: center;">
So for a couple years now I've been wanting to go to Ha Ha Tonka State Park. I've heard that it is such a beautiful place to visit and hike. My plan, for when I go, is to leave sometime mid morning, drive the hour and a half it takes to get there, park and hike and then have a picnic, explore the castle ruins and the beautiful views from up high and then drive back late afternoon. I want to make a whole day of it. I know it is getting chilly and I would LOVE to see the park as the leaves are changing but I'm not 100% sure we are going to be able to make it there before Winter. If we don't, I'm determined to go next Spring!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: right;">
Enjoy!</div>

A lot of craziness has happened this year and I thought I would take a minute to lead up to where I am now with my other.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Two Decembers ago I moved into a duplex with a gay guy friend of mine named Chase. We signed a 6 month lease and I didn't even get to live there for 3 months. He was too messy but blamed me for all of his problems. I was having to be a mother rather than a roommate and was sick of it. Fights and fights led to me moving out and losing my deposit. I stayed with my mom and friends for the next month and then found an apartment with my friend, Sarah that May. That went great for a while and then we decided to go our own ways in February of 2013. Nothing happened between us, we are still friends, we were just ready to do different things. I was only planning to stay with my other for a month or so until I could save enough for a deposit and find a new apartment to rent. I wasn't able to find a job like I had hoped and ended up staying another month. Then another month. Then it was the summer. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This June something traumatic happened to us, though not nearly as traumatic as what our roommate at the time, Kevin, went through. We left for a walk to a couple friends houses that lived on our same street one evening. We were not expecting to be gone but an hour or so. When we arrived home we saw Kevin covered in blood saying he couldn't see and needed medical help. After a crazy night with cops and parents and lots of blood we figured out that about 5 guys with guns came into our house and beat up our roommate and stole many of our personal items including a TV, 2 computers and a safe with money and important papers stored in in.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We were not going to be staying at that house any more. We stayed with his parents for about a month instead while we looked for our own place together.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We moved into our cute one bedroom apartment at the first of August. I love it. And I love living with him.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm learning so much about him and about being around and having to interact with people other than those I've been around my whole life. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before, I feel like I had one view of how things were supposed to go. Of how things were supposed to be communicated. Boy was I wrong! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've realized that timing is one of the key factors in living with someone. You have to be aware and careful of when you say and do things and of when certain ideas and conversations should be presented to the other person.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Respect is the other. Respecting someones space and mood is so crucial to getting along in 4 small rooms (let's say 3 because who wants to hang out in the bathroom?)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He makes me happier than I imagined I could be. He takes care of me and pays attention to the important things. He loves me and accepts me for who I am on the inside and out. I feel like that because of him I have grown to be a much better person and care for myself more, even. I'm excited to see where our relationship goes and how it develops and what he will teach me next. :)<br />
I'm loving the location of our new place and I'm also loving how it is developing slowly into OUR place. Things are being hung and arranged as they need to be. Nothing is being rushed and it feels like us. There are still many projects to be done but each step just makes me happier and happier.<br />
<div style="text-align: right;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
Enjoy!</div>

I know I've posted a couple times recently. Well, more recently than I had been before. I think the reason I got out of it was because all the blogs I was reading (and the ones I'm reading today) are all specifically geared toward something:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fashion</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Crafting</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Make Up</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Photography<br />
DIY<br />
Home Decor<br />
Sewing Projects<br />
So I felt like I needed to have mine be about one specific thing or it wouldn't be worth blogging.<br />
Silly me.<br />
This isn't true. Because this is MY BLOG. I can make it be about anything I want it to be about.<br />
So if you feel like reading then go ahead. I might be journaling about my life or a thought or idea that's been on my mind one day and I might be posting pictures galore another. I'm doing this for me. I feel like doing this will help me keep organized and on track for all the different things in my life I want to start working on, becoming better at and accomplishing.<br />
<br />
So there's that.<br />
Enjoy!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<a href="http://www.tabletopstudio.com/clothing_photography.html" target="_blank">Clothing Photography Tips</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I've been wanting to find a way to take pictures of my wardrobe so I can create outfits on my computer like in Polyvore. I feel like this will help me see better what I own and what I can do with what I already have. And then from there what items I could do with purchasing to add to my look. I really want to refine my look and how I dress and make it more cohesive. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been Pinning like crazy coming up with different looks and ideas for the winter but I think I need to start with what I have first. I think I'm going to use this blog for a while as my "finding my fashion" place to keep everything together. Tutorials, favorite outfits and new websites to shop will be what I'll be posting next. Hope that's okay! :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been inspired more and more by Pin Up and 1940s-1950 style lately. I found this video for wearing scarfs and thought she did a good job explaining.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I guess the next thing I need to become better at is victory curls and winged eyeliner!</div>

If you know me you know that I have an obsession with tattoos. I think they are beautiful and such a unique way to express yourself. Body art that is with you forever. Such a cool concept if you ask me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was bored at work and was looking through a blog I follow and found these that make me happy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1yNJgpgexYgulWwaGEg-6g819wp0NVTifkeOua_ljIt82jrMiWu3z_TuUZ_W9QKYawFrfEIKaAjXd7Jr7fvqFMO3Eh7nlmdpjHHAY_2gNeWa9yunyZnvxRSMoo5h-mHFGh2a-wP1Ok45w/s1600/tumblr_menh0rJe6g1qf1gzno1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1yNJgpgexYgulWwaGEg-6g819wp0NVTifkeOua_ljIt82jrMiWu3z_TuUZ_W9QKYawFrfEIKaAjXd7Jr7fvqFMO3Eh7nlmdpjHHAY_2gNeWa9yunyZnvxRSMoo5h-mHFGh2a-wP1Ok45w/s320/tumblr_menh0rJe6g1qf1gzno1_500.jpg" width="131" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This one reminds me of my current roommate, Sarah. I think they did a beautiful job with the seeds of the flower and I love that they went all the way down to the roots around the ankle.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw98ytMk7E0AtJbrwvR3D-4HrjObZiyCYgyU-B-b9kzSftH4_JJpqFNfFubd2VJ4wjJRlwpTfswiP-aJDBhrftJa-a7S1-S0Y6VdGhHq8LfK2wDhszwikw7LebX6YS25LqhK3YHiTVfQRq/s1600/tumblr_m3qq076HAx1qgu5fqo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw98ytMk7E0AtJbrwvR3D-4HrjObZiyCYgyU-B-b9kzSftH4_JJpqFNfFubd2VJ4wjJRlwpTfswiP-aJDBhrftJa-a7S1-S0Y6VdGhHq8LfK2wDhszwikw7LebX6YS25LqhK3YHiTVfQRq/s320/tumblr_m3qq076HAx1qgu5fqo1_500.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My love for tress made this one catch my eye. I love how the bear is negative space. Cool idea!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyy2oq4wkVOF-ldNcciSSZRr80tKIwOeo-bC59OgPuWayu1x2fMHzUEN7XzzqH_QDDNEHRh911tz_VF2eoKRS8fQltLRS0mNXGa2jFi4HIlCiJGypR_mLANF2ky6DxBkcjznndjj5MYcMs/s1600/tumblr_mec1ojwPiN1qf1gzno4_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyy2oq4wkVOF-ldNcciSSZRr80tKIwOeo-bC59OgPuWayu1x2fMHzUEN7XzzqH_QDDNEHRh911tz_VF2eoKRS8fQltLRS0mNXGa2jFi4HIlCiJGypR_mLANF2ky6DxBkcjznndjj5MYcMs/s320/tumblr_mec1ojwPiN1qf1gzno4_500.jpg" width="203" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm finding myself drawn to tattoos that don't have the typical black outline around everything. I like the water color/splashy feel of these flowers. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJDj_Q83WuTZZl1mBU5Ogchq_L1q0eXOTgbTNPfLmjuVouMgaw9-a7ppu1mzOh1ZB7e0ewe9Pv0vq8JPxmZcYkhDvvJrDidvxJnA0KQbrIm60X_mGxQANxTXg0fgQpuOtJ8wCRyjR6Uvnp/s1600/tumblr_mf86wzaSmK1rrltsjo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJDj_Q83WuTZZl1mBU5Ogchq_L1q0eXOTgbTNPfLmjuVouMgaw9-a7ppu1mzOh1ZB7e0ewe9Pv0vq8JPxmZcYkhDvvJrDidvxJnA0KQbrIm60X_mGxQANxTXg0fgQpuOtJ8wCRyjR6Uvnp/s320/tumblr_mf86wzaSmK1rrltsjo1_500.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Only certain people can pull off hand tattoos. I love when they are simple and beautiful like this one. Not all those words and little pictures and scary eyeballs and stuff! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdgX9AjbRFAc4CoyD5XgKt2nKW0FCeMGTqfPnfmp_6MhLpiYyzBnhB80ECeOQGbsDYWA9aZtjCkUOFIfbtmld69AjtRnZKuBGJGWapMPs8M1yh6ImKLBvbqDgr7rT8xcfLtBoL2XEh4qfN/s1600/tumblr_mfkbrnhJFV1re71vio1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdgX9AjbRFAc4CoyD5XgKt2nKW0FCeMGTqfPnfmp_6MhLpiYyzBnhB80ECeOQGbsDYWA9aZtjCkUOFIfbtmld69AjtRnZKuBGJGWapMPs8M1yh6ImKLBvbqDgr7rT8xcfLtBoL2XEh4qfN/s320/tumblr_mfkbrnhJFV1re71vio1_500.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Again, not having a black outline around everything gives it such a nice, soft feel. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio4UHGqYXzwwqaUSwexI9kss2zq37fhnFSUsuPOQSq_jCUezprkTHTFJmgF4lklVFbQ3AHiMH9PB1c8M6IMA4jMW4svmLwCJn3HWueVw0jHpEmm0fD0OzgoKpgOhZE6qEY_MnTIRSaABKQ/s1600/tumblr_mflhfhy8wd1qli8fuo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio4UHGqYXzwwqaUSwexI9kss2zq37fhnFSUsuPOQSq_jCUezprkTHTFJmgF4lklVFbQ3AHiMH9PB1c8M6IMA4jMW4svmLwCJn3HWueVw0jHpEmm0fD0OzgoKpgOhZE6qEY_MnTIRSaABKQ/s320/tumblr_mflhfhy8wd1qli8fuo1_500.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!! I love this move and think this sleeve does a wonderful job displaying the characters! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNf_o5y2k0lzzsoBqQmqa_vdmayi0XCcPn1jc_0O0k9qPXhyphenhyphenyArYXP0yGCMUUUaSljGN9jKfEJnltstFj521WdlMu9xVi3hqvhXPafc5Cr7SlooClS-q-gZuPpbiVkFji0g2G04HR6JvUO/s1600/tumblr_mf6x3b0FVi1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNf_o5y2k0lzzsoBqQmqa_vdmayi0XCcPn1jc_0O0k9qPXhyphenhyphenyArYXP0yGCMUUUaSljGN9jKfEJnltstFj521WdlMu9xVi3hqvhXPafc5Cr7SlooClS-q-gZuPpbiVkFji0g2G04HR6JvUO/s320/tumblr_mf6x3b0FVi1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would think about doing this. Not a tramp stamp on my back but just a beautiful tree :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1z_rvIr07uRe1zYyy_As2T904WpV58xvPm6d1n8-0QCqj46Zb8IxJTHPpWnreM-tGY7AzL46ImxH45wPtgFT8ptNrnVezWA-B0iU0BnMB9wfFY9n4DAlbFSeyXVR0S0Yjwmh_ef1LANIX/s1600/tumblr_mfml6wATqq1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1z_rvIr07uRe1zYyy_As2T904WpV58xvPm6d1n8-0QCqj46Zb8IxJTHPpWnreM-tGY7AzL46ImxH45wPtgFT8ptNrnVezWA-B0iU0BnMB9wfFY9n4DAlbFSeyXVR0S0Yjwmh_ef1LANIX/s320/tumblr_mfml6wATqq1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love candy skulls but the fact that this one is done in dots, not shading is amazing. Pointillism is difficult so to tattoo pointillism, AMAZING! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO9IaqedMZEhS9ljp4qH_8fvEP3lNEflatpqEH6r0rFwSKGolmTN65udqQptREmRDFy5YcI17N-izIIJp3XLEJ6Bsj2Pu89wqumfvkRXaYt1TXkKhyQIRg6XkgKiZrENuCakR8SJ2usZ-Y/s1600/tumblr_mfppnrEudt1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO9IaqedMZEhS9ljp4qH_8fvEP3lNEflatpqEH6r0rFwSKGolmTN65udqQptREmRDFy5YcI17N-izIIJp3XLEJ6Bsj2Pu89wqumfvkRXaYt1TXkKhyQIRg6XkgKiZrENuCakR8SJ2usZ-Y/s320/tumblr_mfppnrEudt1qzabkfo1_500.jpg" width="262" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is closer to anything I've ever found as far as what I want for my half sleeve. It has a peaceful, relaxed feeling and I love the background!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

I wanted to do a post about my roommate, Sarah, who is competing in Springfield's Got Talent tonight with her wonderful hooping skills!</div>
<div align="center">
She is one of 15 acts that will be performing and competing for $2000!!!</div>
<div align="center">
If she wins she said she is going to use the money to purchase a fire hoop. </div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Earlier this week she was on the news.</div>
<div align="center">
You can watch the 4 minute video of her interview and a preview of what she can do <a href="http://ozarksfirst.com/fulltext?nxd_id=678572" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
She is also a very talented culinary student and knows her stuff when it comes to food and being healthy. She is motivated and works hard at life to get what she wants and to get where she wants to go. </div>
<div align="center">
I am proud to call her my roommate and even more proud to say she is my friend.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Break a leg tonight, Sarah!</div>
<div align="center">
You will rock it!</div>

I think by now we all know I don't follow through with things. It is something I have hated about myself for years. But I'm the only one who can change it...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
...so here I go!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
...again</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was looking at Pinterest today and became really inspired by all the workout pins I saw. I found a bunch that I am going to print out and pin up on my wall for inspiration. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today is only Day 1. I'm not going to stress/freak-out/rush/over-do-it. I'm not going to get down if I eat some ice cream or some pizza. I'm going to watch portions and not over do it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Change takes time and I can't be perfect over night. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I WILL mess up</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I WILL NOT get it right the first time, every time</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As long as I'm making progress I should be happy</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://lexdoescollege.wordpress.com/category/the-college-girl-diet/" target="_blank">This post</a> called The College Girl Diet was very encouraging and gave me quite a few ideas. I used her ideas and my own to create this:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><u>New Lifestyle Goals</u></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>1. The No's: </u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no soda</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no fast food</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no candy</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>2. More Water</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
goal: finish 3 of my 24oz CamelBak a day</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>3. More Moving</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
stretch every day</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm going to be trying different workout plans that I found on Pinterest and on other sites. I just plan on posting a link to whatever it is I'm getting my routine from at the time.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>4. During The Day</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no eating while watching TV/movies</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no eating while on the computer</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no eating at work</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
snack healthy</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
tighten abs throughout the day</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://violetsage.wordpress.com/tag/lazy-girl-fitness/" target="_blank">Lazy Girl Fitness</a> is something I'm going to try to do more of around the house</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>5. While Eating</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
drink 2 glasses of water 15min before eating</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
chew longer</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
eat slower</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
drink in between bites </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
watch portions</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>*Don't Stress About Being Perfect**80/20 Ratio*</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So today I did this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/8zI5EoiYi1c?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It was easy and didn't take very long. The hardest part was making sure I was tightening my abs while doing everything. I could feel the workout more by doing that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white;">I can do this! I can make this happen! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white;">I can be happy!</span></div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-32924777077224927062012-05-22T14:23:00.001-05:002012-05-22T14:23:31.619-05:00Blue strapless dress<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><div style='width:600px;margin:0 auto'><div style='position:relative;'><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/blue_strapless_dress/set?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=49428315'><img force='1' border='0' height='454' title='Blue strapless dress' src='http://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/MahebhEdc1UI3DjSdOobA/cid/49428315/id/f1K5gRe5TsGOx1d2AECj9A/size/c600x454.jpg' alt='Blue strapless dress' width='600'/></a></div></div><br/><div style='text-align:center'><small><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/blue_strapless_dress/set?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=49428315'>Blue strapless dress</a> by <a href='http://chelsea-farnsworth.polyvore.com/?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger'>chelsea-farnsworth</a> featuring <a href='http://www.polyvore.com/oversized_hats/shop?query=oversized+hats'>oversized hats</a></small></div><div style='width:600px;margin:0 auto'><br/><div style='text-align:left;'><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/thing.outbound?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=53909208' rel='nofollow'><img force='1' height='50' title='Jack Wills bandeau dress' src='http://ak1.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/s/tid/53909208.jpg' hspace='4' width='50' vspace='4'/></a><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/thing.outbound?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=51691992' rel='nofollow'><img force='1' height='50' title='AllSaints leather jacket' src='http://ak1.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/s/tid/51691992.jpg' hspace='4' width='50' vspace='4'/></a><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/thing.outbound?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=51950146' rel='nofollow'><img force='1' height='50' title='Platform wedge' src='http://ak2.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/s/tid/51950146.jpg' hspace='4' width='50' vspace='4'/></a><a href='http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/thing.outbound?.embedder=3906856&.svc=blogger&id=53981452' rel='nofollow'><img force='1' height='50' title='Miss Selfridge oversized hat' src='http://ak2.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/s/tid/53981452.jpg' hspace='4' width='50' vspace='4'/></a></div></div></div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-21881290873980473142012-04-10T12:17:00.000-05:002012-04-10T12:17:51.356-05:00Photos<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Of things that make me happy:</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />

It will be a scarf for one of my friends when I'm all done with it. The plan is to make it super long. Like Dr. Seuss long! I'm very excited. It has a few holes but I don't mind. It's my first project and I didn't feel like undoing it to fix it.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I have found that knitting can be very meditative for me. (Example: when Christmas music is playing and stores are decorating for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving!) But today I'm going to write about New Years resolutions and what I plan to do for next year.</div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center">A few years ago I had a friend that told me she was challenging herself to work on a new resolution every month of the year. Instead of working for a few weeks and then giving up...this would be a way to keep things fresh and to keep motivation. Also, I think it is a great way to incorporate multiple things into your life without overwhelming yourself. And then, if you like what you did that month you can keep it up and if you didn't...well, at least you tried something new!</div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center">So this is my plan as of now:</div><div align="center"><strong><em>January:</em></strong> Go to at least 1 yoga class a week and start meditating </div><div align="center"><strong><em>February:</em></strong> Work out every day for at least 30 minutes (to get myself looking good for my birthday in March!)</div><div align="center"><em><strong>March:</strong></em> Wear makeup/do my hair/dress nice every day (maybe I'll do the <a href="http://kendieveryday.blogspot.com/p/30-for-30-remixes.html" target="_blank">30 for 30 challenge</a>!)</div><div align="center"><strong><em>April: </em></strong>Learn to cook basic meals</div><div align="center"><strong><em>May:</em></strong> Hoop for 30 minutes a day</div><div align="center"><strong><em>June:</em></strong> Plan accordingly and ride my bike as much as possible.</div><div align="center"><strong><em>July: </em></strong>Explore 4 new places in Missouri that I have never been to</div><div align="center"><strong><em>August:</em></strong> Finish all projects that I have started. Sewing or art.</div><div align="center"><strong><em>September: </em></strong>Eat nothing but whole foods 4 days a week</div><div align="center"><strong><em>October:</em></strong> Do random acts of kindness</div><div align="center"><strong><em>November:</em></strong> Sew something new each week</div><div align="center"><em><strong>December:</strong></em> Bake and bake and bake and give and give and give</div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><strong><em>All year long:</em></strong> </div><div align="center">*Post at the start of each month what my goal for that month is, then check in and write a few sentences each day or few about if I did it or not*</div><div align="center">*Keep trying new foods as often as possible. <u>Start to incorporate them into my daily menu</u>*</div><div align="center">*Make at least one new craft a month and blog about it*</div><div align="center">*Save money for the first half of the year so I can visit my sister in California!*</div><div align="center">*Read often*</div><div align="center">*Knit often*</div><div align="center">*Learn to embroidery*</div><div align="center">*Learn to crochet* <br />
*Be more active in supporting and participating in my local the theatre/music/dance/art community*<br />
</div><div align="center">I'll probably add more later! This is a great start though, I think :)</div><div align="right">Enjoy!</div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-53254194681364154002011-09-20T09:01:00.001-05:002011-09-20T09:03:18.589-05:00Boston<div style="text-align: center;">I'm not sure why, all of a sudden, I feel the need to blog again. One more show next Saturday then we are done! I have a raincoat to make this week and only one arm left to paint. But it is gonna be the hardest one to do. (Thankfully I have a great teacher who's gonna help me!!)</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>I'm working on art walk stuff this week during work so I should get all that done no problem. </strong></div><div align="center"><strong><br />
</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>I've been eating way too much candy and junk and soda food lately. Being at school for the play for 6 or more hours at a time makes it hard to eat anything of true substance. I'm gonna really try to get better about that this week. I also wish it would stop raining so I could be outside some! I wanna ride my bike and go for long walks and lately (not only have I not had the time) the weather hasn't been doing what I want it to do :(</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>On Friday I helped the Fine Arts Department at the school picnic and got a funky sunburn. My nose started pealing this morning. That's the one thing I really don't like about the sun. You can get so unexpectedly burnt. </strong></div><div align="center"><strong><br />
</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>I have plans to make this dress once summer starts:</strong></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPz94M1GFp-InNoBXVUpxYjRm9Igcc7w9dcN6PipUQlXVIGz4ntDGKenwhhQUcO9v6CwPDtjujcDhg-CUpJKehUWgc7xveLWWq7xjstFUX1i42K5-FxFnBB-g0YB217ucCCHD2PkNe0AaX/s1600/B5605.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" j8="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPz94M1GFp-InNoBXVUpxYjRm9Igcc7w9dcN6PipUQlXVIGz4ntDGKenwhhQUcO9v6CwPDtjujcDhg-CUpJKehUWgc7xveLWWq7xjstFUX1i42K5-FxFnBB-g0YB217ucCCHD2PkNe0AaX/s400/B5605.jpg" width="378" /></a></div><div align="center"><a href="http://butterick.mccall.com/b5605-products-13746.php?page_id=147"><strong>Source</strong></a></div><div align="center"><strong><br />
</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>We used this pattern during the play for the wedding dress. It was so beautiful that I had to get the pattern for myself! I can't wait to make it and wear it :)</strong></div><div align="center"><strong><br />
</strong></div><div align="right"><strong>Enjoy!</strong></div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-85253987328886971172011-04-18T18:35:00.001-05:002011-05-04T11:28:57.873-05:00AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!<div align="center"><strong>Haha! The next three weeks are gonna get crazy up in here. </strong></div><div align="center"><strong>"Why's that?" you may be asking. Well this is why:</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>I have an art project that needs to be finished (needed to be finished a few weeks ago. woops!) this week. And by this week I mean today. Wednesday by 3pm at the VERY latest. Also in my art class we are plaster casting our arms and hands and we each have to make about 6 of them. I have 5, some of which need to be patched up, and I need to do the 6th. Then they need to dry for at least 24 hours, be sanded down to be smooth, then each one has to be painted after different artists. Every arm that is made and painted needs to be different. This all has to be done by April 30th. We only meet in class 3 more times before then. </strong></div><div align="center"><strong>Okay, that doesn't sound so horrible. </strong></div><div align="center"><strong>But I'm not done!!</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>I really need to practice some for my piano class. We are getting to the point in music theory where I always get lost and can never figure out what the teacher is saying. It becomes gibrish to me. So I gotta figure that out.</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>Then there is my costume design class. I have three weeks to make the most adorable rain coat I will have ever seen (if it all works out right!). Again, not so bad except for when you take into account that EVERY NIGHT next week will be taken up doing stuff for the costumes with the school play. Opening night is April 29th. We still don't have everything we need yet, more shopping is to be done. Organizing and labeling too. Then the next week will be spent getting ready for the Student Showcase for First Friday Art Walk here at OTC. It is the most stressful Art Walk of the semester.</strong></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><strong>Recap:</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>This week - 2 art projects, sewing my rain coat, doing some last minute costume stuff for the play</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>Next week - Play rehearsal/run through every night, opening night on Friday and shows on Saturday and Sunday too</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>First week of May - more painting for art, more sewing my rain coat, setting up Art Walk.</strong></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><strong>After that week I will have one week of normal classes then a week of finals.</strong></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>THEN IT'S SUMMER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</strong></span></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><strong>No me gusta on the next three weeks!</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>Me gusta on the whole summer thing :)</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>Wish me luck as I take on mucho work-o.</strong></div><div align="center"><strong>(Don't worry, it will all be done with a smile on my face because these are all things I love!)</strong></div><div align="center"><br />
</div><div align="center"><strong>Pictures that make me happy:</strong></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Owg3Va7DWhnmcLDelp6v3XQvrPtzEhLLPDna_cbZW-tpU88EBPc4uP2XRMaALdFmwy8JxflRHsrd7oHk_cOcWFQdNwFYrcJoD9521J_Pb2Xt0HREuUnQXAIEWmEhN29-YMoqSNbn3Jad/s1600/tumblr_lji9k8sIYF1qc6spoo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" r6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Owg3Va7DWhnmcLDelp6v3XQvrPtzEhLLPDna_cbZW-tpU88EBPc4uP2XRMaALdFmwy8JxflRHsrd7oHk_cOcWFQdNwFYrcJoD9521J_Pb2Xt0HREuUnQXAIEWmEhN29-YMoqSNbn3Jad/s400/tumblr_lji9k8sIYF1qc6spoo1_500.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I say I want to do something and it never comes about. I know that I am the only one to blame for any of this but I can't seem to figure out what part of me keeps me from doing the things I say I want to do. I'll say I want to start exercising, trying new foods, waking up earlier, being more crafty etc, but for some reason there is a part of me that seems to be stronger than the rest that makes me not do the things I say I want to do. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>I realize that I can be fairly lazy sometimes. But I enjoy staying busy and doing different things through out the day/week. I don't know why I can't have enough self discipline to make things happen. I'm trying though. And I think that because I'm aware of it now, I'll be able to change it sooner. Hopefully.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>I've been making button necklaces trying to find the best thing to string them on and the best thing to use for a closure in the back. I want this blog/store thing to start soon but again...no motivation = no results. I feel like so much of my time is consumed by other things that I <i>have</i> to do (work, school, the costumes for the play, spending time with friends to keep those relationships going strong, spending time with family) that all the things I want to do for myself (making necklaces, sewing, bike rides, hooping) just don't happen.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>You know, I think all of this is coming out because the weekend was so absolutely amazingly wonderful and beautiful and today it is cold, cloudy, rainy, and the start of a new week. Seasonal depression. That's what is wrong with me. I can't wait for summer. I hope it is just as memorable as last summer. I know it will be because I'll make sure of it :)</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>I'm going to be happy today! I won't let silly things get me down! The rain is beautiful and needed. I'm going to embrase it! </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>I will leave you with a beautiful picture:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5npTxHgiZ9pVgrGfpKRPCFNFjiYqGnWugy3-lVNGVeJ9JMra8svk9j-WUuhQFq-NbYaYztEyZnqT7qPmMMCc9PjULyYfafb2C1gLL0vHNNcJRG-PEXXRsr2nC8025HBts_ixw4doUkpR_/s1600/BeautifulColor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5npTxHgiZ9pVgrGfpKRPCFNFjiYqGnWugy3-lVNGVeJ9JMra8svk9j-WUuhQFq-NbYaYztEyZnqT7qPmMMCc9PjULyYfafb2C1gLL0vHNNcJRG-PEXXRsr2nC8025HBts_ixw4doUkpR_/s640/BeautifulColor.jpg" width="515" /></a></div><div style="text-align: right;"><b>Enjoy!</b></div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-12328807674275239672011-04-04T12:48:00.001-05:002011-05-04T11:31:28.777-05:00One Day Without Shoes 2011<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Tomorrow is the official "One Day Without Shoes" event hosted by <a href="http://www.toms.com/">Toms Shoes</a>.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />

Well there is just over a month left before the semester is over so I need to get started. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>The weather has been very fickle as of late (example: this weekend it was in the 70's and 80's with lots of sunshine and today it is 44* and is supposed to rain later) making it hard to know what to include in my 30 items. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>I plan to check the weather out tonight for the next couple of weeks and pick my items then post them by tomorrow. I'll either start tomorrow or Wednesday...depending on how I feel. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Have you heard of seasonal depression? Yeah well with the sunshine and warmth with the perfect amount of a cool breeze the past two days and the cold, rainy, dark, gloomy day today that is exactly what I'm experiencing. I hope Mother Nature gets happy soon so I can get happy too! :)</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>In other news:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>*The school play is going well. I'm starting to stress just a little about the costumes but I haven't talked to my teacher yet so I'm holding off on freaking out until it has been approved to do so. </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>*I've started working on designing a blog to use to sell some of my creations! I'm looking forward to it being opened to the public I just have to get some more things made, pictures taken, pictures posted and then I'll be ready! </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />
</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Hope you have a lovely, non-gloomy day!</b></div><div style="text-align: right;"><b>Enjoy!</b></div>Chelsea Farnsworthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09031614272050755245noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2883434034283003266.post-5473519256756903642011-03-21T10:45:00.001-05:002011-05-04T11:33:51.992-05:00More B-Day Pictures<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5BI0SI5CapXkaAY2SKML1Yo3uuc5Ns5l2Kqq6v8Mty8EFKcWUwilaV-csmLESYxBJst3OgnVowg6uGZLD2xKR2eQEaDzqrLoqi4EIWdBg-Mh5jcYlWgObsF7Hx7iekxuVD5YjHwUDJi0X/s1600/IMG_1829.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5BI0SI5CapXkaAY2SKML1Yo3uuc5Ns5l2Kqq6v8Mty8EFKcWUwilaV-csmLESYxBJst3OgnVowg6uGZLD2xKR2eQEaDzqrLoqi4EIWdBg-Mh5jcYlWgObsF7Hx7iekxuVD5YjHwUDJi0X/s400/IMG_1829.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #444444; font-family: 'coming soon', sans-serif;">To go along with my obsession of trees I got this cool tree/bird glass thing.
